I am devoted to paper crafts. I love them. I would spend my days creating something if I could.... but unfortunately, I also have to look after my husband, do housework, yardwork , and farm work.
I was born in Sydney NSW Australia in the early 50's.... well ok, it was in 1951 so that means I am turning 60 this year. This is my second marriage, my first marriage lasted for 30 years and only ended when my husband passed away from esophageal cancer. I am city girl, and I somehow married a country boy... and have been on a huge learning curve ever since. We live in a small rural town where there is not a lot of creative souls, and I started this website to put me in touch with like minded people.
I am offering my cards for sale, but will also include designs for download.
Beside greeting cards, I am working on a line of invitations that can be printed out at home.
I hope you enjoy the new updated site and I hope that we will get at least a little imput from some of the members. Please introduce yourselves in the new forum.

Hi there! I am Gwen and also born and bred in Sydney just 3 years earlier than Maggie. This too is my 2nd marriage, although I first met my husband when I was only 17, I was too young and he had too much living to do with his mates. We met up again a few years later in our lives and the spark was definitely still there! He is also a country boy. (wonder what it is about those country boys?) He is my true soulmate. We lived in Central West New South Wales for 20 years and because of my husbands health problems we moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast almost 21 years ago. We have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 adorable fur babies Lump and Twink.
There was no one more surprised than me to discover that I loved papercrafting. All the artistic talents had already been handed out in the family as far as I could see and it wasnt until Christmas a couple of years ago when two of my grandaughters wanted to make Christmas Cards that I very reluctantly sat with them as they designed and created. It wasnt long before it was a case of "Move over girls, Nan wants to play".
The rest is history so to speak and I became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator not long after that and my addiction has grown. I hold regular classes, where the ladies come and I teach them new techniques or we make cards and other 3-D items using all manner of materials.I have a range of wedding and other invitations that I have been working on and look forward to sharing them with you as time goes by too. I also create easy to follow Tutorials, most of which are free, and I am looking forward to sharing these with you over the coming months.
If you have any questions about your cardmaking or 3- D items then by all means ask away, and between Maggie and I we will answer you as best we can. Like Maggie says, introduce yourself in the forum, we too would love to know a lot more about you and what you would like to see more (or less) of here.
Take care and Happy Stampin' and Creating!

Hi everyone, I am Joan (the big sister). Welcome!
The word “craft” triggers thoughts of pleasure, wishful thinking and memories. A multitude of specialised skills that have often been passed down through generations, or have been hidden for centuries only now to be unearthed again and heralded as ‘new and exciting’.
I too married a country boy, and lived in many rural areas of New South Wales, have 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Long distance and busy lifestyles mean that we don’t get together as much as we would like, but thank goodness for the Internet and telephone!
Whereas Maggie and Gwen’s interests lay mostly in paper craft, my love is Sugarcraft.
My late mother was also very adept at this craft and I think over the years of watching and ‘helping’ her to create her masterpieces, it came very naturally to me as well. I also taught cake decorating in rural annexes surrounding my home town for many years as well as having my own business.
There is nothing like seeing the look of wonder and joy on a clients face as you present them with your creation for their very special occasion or the look of disbelief on the face of a woman who never thought her work worn hands would ever be capable of creating a delicate sugar rose!
Through THE THREE SISTERS website, I also want to help you achieve your goals in cake decorating and Sugarcraft where I can with hints, tips, techniques and ideas.
If you can or any of your family or friends can cook and ice a cake then you are more than half way there! Professionally made and decorated wedding cakes for instance are so very expensive, and this is due to the many hours of skilled work it takes to achieve the look or design required.
This is where I come in! Let me help and guide you in your endeavours and you will soon be creating your own specially decorated cakes for any occasion!
To help you give that special finishing touch to your special occasion cake then I can supply you with handmade decorations at a reasonable cost, here are just a few
· Centre Pieces
· Individual Flowers or Sprays
and so much more, all either in stock or made to order, ask me I love a challenge!
PLEASE BE PATIENT .WHILE MY PART OF THE SITE IS BEING DEVELOPED, I PROMISE IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT!
Make sure you come back often and visit us; there will always be something new from either Maggie, Gwen or myself to keep your interest piqued!
If you have any questions in the meantime, I will do my utmost to assist you and you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
